Leica's 1544m2 backyard on a steep incline is designed using permaculture and organic practices on a budget. With help from her dad Steve, it now features hügelkultur beds, hot and cold composting, worm farming, veggies, herbs and fruit trees. DIY beds made from recycled timber and branches showcase creative problem-solving, while native trees form a shelter belt and flower gardens draw pollinators and supply Leica's floral arrangements.
